Ericsson 4 vince con autorità la seconda tappa della Volvo Ocean Race.
Lo fa dopo aver vinto anche la prima.
Lo fa dopo aver stabilito il nuovo record di percorrenza per monoscafi in 24 h.
Nonostante tutti, Torben Grael in testa, si affrettino a dire che questi risultati sono frutto di una casualità, che le barche hanno tutte praticamente la stessa performance ci pare di capire che anche questa edizione, come successe nella precedente con ABN AMRO, sia già segnata.
Abbiamo capito perchè hanno inventato il Volvo Ocean Race Game, almeno nel virtuale tenere alta la suspense fino alla fine ;-)
Torben Grael and the Ericsson 4 crew took a firm grip on the 2007-08 Volvo Ocean Race last night with their second leg win. It follows a first place at the scoring gate and gives them maximum points for this leg – a stunning performance, the more so because it was completed (again) in a wide range of conditions.

We’re getting close to the start of Leg 2 of the Volvo Ocean Race Game. In just three days we’ll leave Cape Town and head for Cochin India. So far almost 10000 yachts have finished so there are still a lot of boats on the water!To give you sailors some rest and time to fix your sails we will cut off the leg race two days prior to the start of the second leg. This will be on November 13th 2008 at 22:00 CET. We will magically teleport all the remaining ships to the harbour and your score will be calculated on the rank you have at that moment. This is a change we had to make because of the sheer size of the number of players.It’s a race against the clock now to get the closest to the finish as you can!
