Alan Thèbault ed il suo trimarano Hydroptère meditavano vendetta da un pò.
Il fatto che Sail Rocket avesse planato a 51.76 nodi li aveva un pò intristiti.
Quegli esibizionisti poi in Namibia non si erano fatti mancare un decollo spettacolare che aveva rubato le luci della ribalta.
Stamane Hydroptère ha risposto all'affronto a modo suo.

Maestrale tra i 35 e i 38 nodi stabili.
Una raffica stimata a 45 porta il trimarano di Thèbault all'incredibile top speed di 61 nodi !!!
La staccata in fondo al rettilineo non riesce al meglio e si finisce col botto.
Stanno tutti bene, belli sorridenti.

L'hydroptère, the record-breaking French trimaran, capsized this morning after reaching the spectacular speed of 61 knots, under winds between 35 and 38 knots and gusts reaching 45 knots. The sea being considerably choppier than the previous days, the same gusts that propelled the French yacht to record-breaking speeds caused her also to capsize.
Fortunately, there were no serious injuries and the crew suffered a few scratches. The yacht will be towed to Fos sur Mer, once conditions allow it.
